Facilities Strategy For Bike NZ - Sport NZ

To provide a rationale to assist Bike NZ in its development of a long term facilities strategy and ensure that its facility requirements are strategically in line with, and supported by, key facility funding agencies such as Territorial Local Authorities (TLAs), Lottery Grants Board (LGB), Community Trusts and the Ministry of Education. To creat a working document which provides a reusable methodology able to be updated over time as specific needs change.

Rangitane Cultural Centre - Grovetown

To provide Te Runanga a Rangitane O Wairau Trust with a specially designed building functioning both as a Marae and an event centre for the wider community.

Shared, Multi-Purpose Site & Events Centre -Hawkes Bay

Stake Holders: Hawkes Bay Racing Inc, Hawkes Bay A & P Society, Hastings Rugby & Sports Club, Hawkes Bay Polo and Drillers Poultry Farm. The facility must be capable of attracting national and international events and add to the appeal and interest of the Hawkes Bay Region.

Marlborough Airport - Marlborough

APL Blenheim has had over 6 years experience managing all airport administration, assets and property at Marlborough Airport. Management encompassed daily administration, maintenance, security, future development, strategic planning and specialised aviation compliance as a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Part 139 Certificate holder.

Sport NZ Facilities Strategy for Athletics NZ

To create a strategy which: Identifies and rationalises ANZ's requirements. Provides the rationale for a long term strategy to meet ANZ's goals and objectives. Creates an inventory of existing faciities and resources to enable a more planned approach to maintenance and improvement. Provides an inventory of current IAAF certified facilities and information on the certification process. Outlines a framework for the implementation of robust maintenance programmes. Supplies information on sport funding bodies. Provides a strategy that aligns with Territorial Authority/Local Authority Long Term Community and Annual Plans.

Motueka Recreation Centre Upgrade - Motueka

APL assisted a consortium of far-sighted stakeholders to realise their vision of a science-based research centre for agriculture, pastoral, horticultural and viticulture production. The opportunity was to create the MRC on a greenfield site, and the challenge was to ensure it maximises the location’s potential and provides scope for future expansion. The MRC now delivers world-leading innovation, research and technical development and is internationally-recognised for research into sauvignon blanc and pinot noir; two of the region’s best known wines.
