Extension of gym floor

New sprung wooden floor to enable international quality roller skating

Increased area for indoor sports such as netball, volleyball, basketball and badminton

Extension of weight training area

Complete refurbishment of bathroom area

New changing room facilities

New entranceway / reception area.

 

APL's contribution

Ensured the extension complements existing building and is not simply an add-on

Single point of contact managing the entire design and construction process

Developed project programme for professional services including architectural and structural design

Provided detailed design/costings for final approval by Tasman District Council

Arranged for specialist works and ensured these were incorporated into construction plans

Coordinated and prepared tender documents

Liaised with "in kind" contractors

Assisted with tender evaluation, project administration and reporting

Preparation of construction programme

Monthly reporting.
