APL provides clients with the complete spectrum of services required for the efficient management of a complex and diverse property portfolio. To aid in this, we have deployed portfolio management systems and technology that lead the industry. Our cloud-based portal affords our clients a real-time view of their property portfolio – from rental receipts, to lease renewals, maintenance and repairs.
The efficiency of these systems enables our team to analyse more deeply, and devote more time to, ways in which our clients can generate new value from their portfolio. This includes rethinking how land and buildings can be used that may not have been previously considered, finding new purpose for dormant assets or reclassifying legal status and consent. We back these strategies with the qualification, experience and regulatory knowledge required for their implementation.
We provide portfolio management services to government local authorities, the corporate sector, iwi, as well as private sector owners such as property developers, farmers, high-net worth families and individuals.
Our public-sector capabilities include managing the majority of outsourced local authority property portfolios in New Zealand. All of which have seen dramatic performance improvements. Our team has experience and knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing public land and an acute political awareness of the importance of prudent property management. APL manages, and is on the preferred supplier list, for several central Government contracts. As a LINZ Accredited Supplier, APL is also able to be engaged to carry out a range of Crown property work for central and local Government clients. APL has been involved in Treaty of Waitangi Settlement negotiations and is currently property manager and strategic advisor to several iwi property portfolios.
