Settlement pond and new water race

Main pump station at Hammond Road delivering up to 1000 l/s v 75 m head using

Four 280kW submersible pumps for summer flows plus two 75kW pumps for winter flows

Secondary pump station at Fareham Road

Four boost pump stations operating during summer irrigation period

Reticulated pressured pipeline ranging in size from 900mm diameter to 75mm diameter over 58.4km and servicing 356 offtakes

Pipework assigned a 100 year life

Two main types of property connections for larger and smaller properties

System monitored remotely through Datran telemetry system
