To provide Te Runanga a Rangitane O Wairau Trust with a specially designed building functioning both as a Marae and an event centre for the wider community.
Stake Holders: Hawkes Bay Racing Inc, Hawkes Bay A & P Society, Hastings Rugby & Sports Club, Hawkes Bay Polo and Drillers Poultry Farm. The facility must be capable of attracting national and international events and add to the appeal and interest of the Hawkes Bay Region.
APL Blenheim has had over 6 years experience managing all airport administration, assets and property at Marlborough Airport. Management encompassed daily administration, maintenance, security, future development, strategic planning and specialised aviation compliance as a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Part 139 Certificate holder. APL Queenstown manages commercial property at Wanaka Airport.
To create a strategy which: Identifies and rationalises ANZ's requirements. Provides the rationale for a long term strategy to meet ANZ's goals and objectives. Creates an inventory of existing faciities and resources to enable a more planned approach to maintenance and improvement. Provides an inventory of current IAAF certified facilities and information on the certification process. Outlines a framework for the implementation of robust maintenance programmes. Supplies information on sport funding bodies. Provides a strategy that aligns with Territorial Authority/Local Authority Long Term Community and Annual Plans.
Feasibility study to identify scope of works required to upgrade and extend the Motueka Recreation Centre. Liaison with the local community, current facility manager and representatives from Tasman District Council.
To provide Marlborough tourism industry and visitors with a purpose built, sustainable i-site showcasing the best of the Region and which suitably relfects Blenheim.
To replace existing antiquated and deteriorating outdoor swimming pool with a state of the art aquatic facility.
Beautification and development of London Quay to remove industrial components, provide quality commercial and open space on the waterfront and complement the adjacent Picton Foreshore. Development of new 80 space carpark and entry road off Forest Park Drive at the foot of the Wither Hills Farm Park.
Involved preparation of a high level, detailed engineering and geotechnical concept plan and scheme design, plus an assessment of environmental effects and planning information to enable resource consent applications to be lodged with Marlborough District Council for subdivision and related activities.
