JOANNE MCCRACKEN: BCom (VPM), FNZIV, FPINZ, Registered Valuer

Joanne completed a Valuation and Property Management Degree from Lincoln University in 1991. After receiving a national scholarship with Valuation New Zealand, she worked with that organisation as valuer until 1993, then for McDowell & Co. Valuers in Rotorua until 1997. Joanne gained PINZ registration in 1995, advanced to Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers in 1997 and was awarded a Fellowship of the institute in 2009. She was the first woman in Rotorua to be awarded this honour. Joanne has wide local authority property portfolio experience gained while working for local authorities in London (1990s) and then as Hamilton City Council Property Portfolio Manager. In 2003 Joanne formed Property Strategies now rebranded as APL Property. Joanne established the Women in Property Network in Rotorua and is an elected member of the Property Management and Asset Council of PINZ.
